Weekly Reflection - 8th week

            WEEK 8 - (31/07/2023 - 04/08/2023) On this week, I started revision on all the 5 chapters and it helps the students to focus on their weaker topics. On Monday, there was special assembly as a part of birthday of Indian writer, Premchand. On Wednesday, the school celebrated SPC day. Several programs were conducted related to SPC day. Since it was the last week of our second phase internship, we have taken the signature and seal for the respective records and papers from the Headmistress. We distributed sweets for the students and teachers. The students shared their feedbacks and I am very thankful to the teaching and non teaching staffs of the school. We completed 37 days of School Internship (Phase 2) in GHSS, Mangad on this week and it was really a great experience for me as a student teacher.

Weekly Reflection - 7th week

                 WEEK 7 - (24/07/23 - 29/07/23) On this week I completed the chapter 'Indian constitution : Rights and Duties' and I started a new chapter 'National Income'. On Monday, General teacher from our college visited our school. On Wednesday, I conducted an achievement test for the students from the chapters 'The East and the West: Era of exchanges' and 'Indian constitution Rights and Duties'. All the students actively attended the exam. On Saturday, I completed the chapter 'National Income'. There was holiday on Friday due to Muharam. Optional teacher of Physical science from our college visited our school for class observation of other trainee during this week.

Weekly Reflection - 6th week

             WEEK 6 (19/07/2023 - 22/07/2023) On this week, I taught the remaining portions of 'Indian Constitution: Rights and Duties'. Activities were given to the students to elicit their knowledge and innovative lesson plan were used during this week. There were two holidays in this week. On Tuesday, Government declared public holiday due to demise of Sri Oommen Chandy, Former Chief minister of Kerala. From Wednesday onwards, Mid term examination were started. The exams are held in afternoon session. There was a special assembly on Friday on behalf of Moon day. As a part of Moon day, a science exhibition was conducted on school ground. The Mid term exam was over on Saturday. I also collected samples from the students required for my project during this week.

Weekly Reflection - 5th week

              WEEK  5 (10/07/2023 - 14/07/2023) On this week I completed the third chapter 'The Signature of Time' and started the new chapter 'Indian Constitution: Rights and Duties'. Activities were given and students answered the questions brilliantly. On Monday I conducted a diagnostic test from the chapter 'The East and the West: Era of exchanges'. There was a special assembly on Tuesday on behalf of World population day. On Wednesday ' Honesty Shop' was inaugurated by school HM. Our College Principal visited our school during this week.

Weekly Reflection - 4th week

            WEEK 4  (03/07/2023 - 07/07/2023) On this week I completed the second chapter and I started the third chapter 'The Signature of Time'. My optional teacher from our college came to see my class as a part of observation. I prepared a topic from the chapter 'Sun: the ultimate source' to teach on that period. There was a special assembly on Wednesday on behalf of Basheer 's Memory day. District collector declared holiday on Thursday due to heavy rain during this week.

             WEEK 3  (26/09/2023 - 01/07/2023) On this week I covered the topics upto Art and Literature of the chapter ' The East and west: Era of exchanges'. Activities were given to check the knowledge level of students. International day against Drug Abuse was celebrated on Monday by conducting a special assembly. Maths club was inaugurated on Friday. There were two holidays in this week due to Eid- Mubarak. Saturday was working day on this week. Optional teacher of Maths from our college visited our school for class observation of other trainees during this week.

                WEEK 2  (19/06/2023 - 23/06/2023) On this week I completed the first chapter and I started the second chapter 'The East and West: Era of exchanges'. I also used Power point presentation to teach a topic during this week. On Monday there was a special assembly as a part of Reading Day. International Yoga day were celebrated on Wednesday by conducting a special assembly. Social science club was inaugurated on Thursday. There was an educational strike on Friday, so we did our works.

School Internship Phase 2 - Weekly Reflection - 1st week

                    WEEK 1   (14/06/2023 - 16/06/2023) My second internship programme were at Govt HSS, Mangad. Along with me there are four other trainees from our college. I was allotted to take classes for Standard IX.A. The Social science teacher of the school assigned me to take five chapters. I started Sun: The ultimate source and I covered upto water content in the atmosphere of the chapter on first week. Along with teaching, I also provided activities to elicit the knowledge of students. In this week I was able to get better at taking classes and managing the students.

Weekly reflection - 8th week

                WEEK 8  (20/02/23 - 24/02/23) On this week I completed the portions of 'Economic System and Economic Policies' and I started revision. On 20th Monday, we conducted a programme as per our syllabus EDU 12 related to the topic 'Citizenship Training - Duties and Rights of Indian citizens' on class 9. Our General and Physical education teacher visited our school for class observation during this week. We completed 40 days of School Internship (Phase 1) in GHSS Mangad on this week and it was really a great experience for me as a student teacher.

                     WEEK 7  (13/02/23 - 17/02/23) On this week, I taught the remaining portions of 'Economic System and Economic Policies'. On 15th Wednesday, we have conducted a conscientization programme on climate change on class 8. Students were actively participated in the programme. Optional teacher of physical science from our college came for class observation of other trainee on this week.

Weekly reflection - 6th week

                             WEEK 6 (6/02/2023 - 10/02/2023) On this week I completed the third chapter 'Towards a brighter future' and follow up activities were given. On 7th Tuesday, we the trainees of FMTC conducted an awareness class related to COVID -19 through PPT. Students were actively participated and the programme was successful. Also I started the next chapter 'Economic System and Economic Policies' in this week.

Weekly reflection - 5th week

                                 WEEK 5 (30/01/2023 - 3/02/2023) On this week I taught the remaining portions of 'Towards a brighter future'. On 1st Wednesday, my optional teacher visited the school for second time as a part of class observation. At that time I prepared to teach the topic 'Economic System'. Activities were given and students answered the questions brilliantly. On 2nd Thursday, optional teacher of Maths from our college visited the school for class observation of other trainees.

Weekly Reflection - 4th week

              WEEK 4   (23/01/2023 - 27/01/2023) I conducted an achievement test of the chapters Kerala: From 8th to 18th century and For a Safer Future on first day of this week. I started the third chapter 'Towards a Brighter Future' on this week. On 25th there was anniversary celebration at school. On 26th, a small programme related to Republic day were also conducted in the school premises. On last day of this week, after teaching the topic, I conducted a diagnostic test of the chapter Kerala: From 8th to 18th century.

Weekly Reflection - 3rd week

WEEK 3   (16/01/2023 - 20/01/2023) On this week I completed the second chapter 'For a Safer Future'. Teacher trainees of other subjects came for observation as a part of their Peer observation. I also went to their classes as a part of Peer observation during this week.

INNOVATIVE MODEL - THIRD SEM

  The learning method used by the innovative model was taken during first internship program. The children were very interested in the class. The learning method using the model made it possible to take the class in a very effective way. By using model, it is very helpful to control the children in the class in a very good way and also to give the children an opportunity to learn through direct experience. I used Water - well shaped model consisting of Nadus of Kerala in the class. Through this the students get an overall idea about 14 Nadus of medieval Kerala.

Weekly Reflection - 2nd week

              WEEK 2   (9/01/2023 - 13/01/2023) On this week I completed the first chapter and I started the second chapter For a Safer Future. My Optional teacher from our college came to see my class as a part of observation. I prepared a topic from the chapter, Kerala: From 8th to 18th century to teach on that period.  I used Innovative model to teach the topic during class observation. I also used PowerPoint presentation to teach the topic during this week.
