School Internship Phase 1 - Weekly Reflection - 1st week

         WEEK 1   (3/01/2023 - 7/01/2023)

My teaching practice in the new year started by seeing the children who came to school with the joy after celebrating the Christmas holiday and the New year. I was confident that I could take the classes well. My first internship programme were at Govt HSS Mangad., Along with me, there are four other trainees from our college. I was allotted to take classes for Standard IX.A. The Social Science teacher of the school assigned me to take four chapters. I started the chapter Kerala; From 8th to 18th century and I covered upto Trade relations of the chapter on first week. Along with teaching I also provided activities to students to elicit their knowledge. In this week I was able to get better at taking classes and managing the students.
